This summer's frocks may all be about light and air but the accessories are all about rock and metal with a futuristic vibe. Take a look at some of the heavy accessories for this season:

What an Eye!
Yvan, the "face hunter" travels around the globe capturing trends as they are born- and wow does he have an eye for fashion's quirky side! I love everything he puts up! Here are some favorites:
VISIT HIM DAILY, HERE!
Someone actually worth admiring: Julia Restoin-Roitfeld
Natural beauty. Grace and Poise. Effortlessly Chic. This is a young woman we should look to for her style and behavior. Best of all, she has natural curves and looks healthy. Like a woman!
Marios Schwab: Knows how to do a body good
So, yesterday I popped into Opening Ceremony in LA; such a hidden treasure of a store. Nestled behind a secret garden which also happens to be Charlie Chaplin's old stomping grounds (literally). My NYC friends are fans of the city's location as well.
Open Ceremony is the place to go for before-the-moment clothing. I love all of the brands (they even have Topshop!) and their in house line is superb but I especially am in love with Marios Schwab's designs.
I tried on some of his line for topshop a while back, not knowing how big he was (which I shamefully admit!) but his own line is more amazing times ten.
His body clenching attached under piece sucks you in where you need to be tucked, and the fit is breathtaking. Just take a look at some of his pieces. I love how the pieces are oozing with sex appeal yet are completely sophisticated.

What do you think of Mr. Schwabs Designs? Too similar to Christopher Kane?

Scarves in the summer: not faux-pas, Chic!
Take a note from the French
So what if we are not cold- we are trying to look hot even if it is hot outside! Throw away the rulebook for this impeccable look. You can wear a scarf with a tank top. You want to look layered, chic, and a bit incognito. I get it; and so do they:

Summer Breeze- White frocks for all
Want to know the hot color for summer? White. Not just a piece here and there; the whole outfit.
All white is not for virgins anymore- even bad girls can get away with the pristine look of spring!
From to NYC to London to Milan- designers are on the same page, the white one.
We have seen romantic flowing A-lines with rose appliques at 3.1 Phillip Lim, and microfiber zipper mini dresses at Preen, to Nancy Sinatra-mod inspired frocks at Versace. Marc Jacobs also gave a nod to 1930s beauty queens with his floral white dresses and sun hats. Delicious.

Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2007
So remember: White always looks best next to a warm complexion- those daily tanning creams are great for a subtle glow.
I love gold and white- so clean and modern, try to keep the matching to a minimum.
I want to know: How do you feel about these all white outfits? What will you pair your breezy summer dress with?
