Gucci: The movie

You fell in love with the behind the scenes look at Louis Vuitton, the quirks of Karl Lagerfield, and now you can see a motion feature telling the tale of the house of Gucci.

Ridley Scott will be directing, and they will be using Gucci's archives for history, family secrets and original Gucci pieces from the 1960s to the 1990s that will feature in the film.

It will show the small beginnings of Gucci from an Italian family business to the ultra successful Tom Ford's sexed up version of Gucci during the nineties. (even whispers of Clive Owen to play Mr. Ford)

Save the Date: Febuary 4th, NYC, Halston Re-Launch

You know the mastermind behind Jimmy Choo, Tamara Mellon, as one to put luxury on full volume. With Harvey Weinstiens backing, Ms. Mellon plans to make the new Halston, a part of all of our closets.

"Halston will be what it was in the 1970s: a pure luxury brand,” she says.

Think a revision of all that was glamorous in the 1970s. Picture our favourite movie stars from the past, in their billowing one shoulder dresses, perfectly pleated, in bright colours, dancing the night away at studio 54 in NYC. Yeah, I didnt have any doubt of this ventures success. Ill post an update when the show launches.
