One to watch: Yarborough Jewelry
Elisabeth Yarborough has only had her Jewlery line for one year yet it is sold at Opening Cermony (NYC, LA) and Colette (Paris). What makes her line so special? She uses an unexpected range of materials, including yarn, tassels, feathers, gemstones, horns and buttons with a smart and witty take on jewlery.

Get a Clu: Avant-Garde Summer Knits
Inspired by the lifestyles of the West Coast, the designers for Clu have been knit savvy since 2004 and show no signs of slowing down. Focusing on deconstructed silhouettes and feminine shapes, Clu brings soft jersey knits to a whole new level. While their pieces are a bit pricey- the design element and fabric make every penny worth it.

The new look: 60 years later
July 2, 2007 Paris: The typically outlandish Galliano shocked everyone with his spring 2008 collection he premiered at Versailles. The show was a stunning display of Galliano's talent with structure, fabric printing and giving us the awe-factor performance.
Besides the homage to Christian Dior's post World War II new look, Galliano also paid tribute to Versailles- and Ms. Antoinette. His palette existed from some of the greats of impressionism. It is fantastic to see such delicate design from Dior, as the years previous have been hard edged and lacking demure lines.
Haute Couture shows generally celebrate the masters of the fashion world- showcasing amazing fetes of design and theatre combined. And this year was no different. For all forty seven looks from the show- click here
